Gene Hodges has been my friend since 1973 and I cherish that relationship with my Christian Brother. He has been doing production work for me since I have been in broadcasting. Each day when The ROSE of Jacksonville, signs on and signs off, you can hear Gene's voice. You can also hear his voice throughout the day as he does "spots" and "jingles." God has truly gifted Gene with a tremendous musical ability as a song-writer, piano player and music director. He is very involved in the music programs at First Baptist Church, Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. He was a cherished friend of Dr. Homer Lindsay, Jr. I thank God for putting Gene Hodges into my life. He is been a great asset and a tremendous instrument throughout my years in radio. Gene, I love you in the Lord.
